back here with jeff springs ceo and tour director of the disc golf pro tour a brand new venue new name some familiar crew but uh how's the setup going for the otb open well we're done setup actually um and it went fantastic really impressed with the venue with the course design and i think we're in for a great treat this weekend with really high level competition the return of simon deep fields it's going to be fun yeah it's obviously hard to replace of course light golden eagles a very unique and special course on the tour but um you know just kind of talk about the lift i mean the pro tour over the last two seasons has had to make a lot of venue changes so you got to be pretty used to it by now that's a good point yeah i it's kind of just been integrated into the fabric of what we do now um which is yeah be flexible agile able to you know kind of marshall resources uh places quickly do a lot of behind the scenes work all mostly related to the kova 19 pandemic and we're looking forward to maybe turning a lot of that energy into growth and ideas for the future instead of just managing the present in the in the challenge is the pandemic so um this has kind of felt like normal um and maybe we'll get back to the old normal soon but uh yeah it's been pretty smooth obviously we are getting getting used to that process so you've seen a lot of courses a lot of venues in your time even before on the pro tour um what's something that really stands out to you from your perspective about this particular course this particular place i think the the biggest thing that stands out is the use of the golf course venue effectively for a high-level disc golf course competition track we hear a lot from fans and commenters and critics out there that golf courses aren't necessarily exciting to them and that they have a problem when they see a new golf course you know popping up on tour and i i understand that i i sympathize with that i think that there uh there's a lot of good feedback that we can take and learn from there but i also...
