all right welcome back to gatekeeper media's new year's resolutions for 2022. these next three days we're gonna talk about three different ways to aim and target your shots in an open field so grab five to ten of the same disc something that's overstable enough that it doesn't really turn when you throw it hard but isn't trying to fade immediately and get an open field where you can throw a full shot at about 80 power find a target a basket bag cone something like that that's visible to you that target will be your aim point so focus on it during your whole throw because we really care about where the disc finishes for this drill now throw a shot that comes out on hyzer from your hand not quite a spike but something that's more angled than flat at 90 to 100 power let your body naturally find the amount of angle and height to put on it to finish at the target now i want to replicate that kind of thing get the same finishing location that was higher so it didn't glide nearly as far you want to school up on each of your previous throws so try to be aware of how much angle and height you're perceiving you can repeat this 20 30 40 times as many times as you have discs and you feel like throwing you win the game when you can modulate parts of your throw like angle and power but still have the same finishing location
