2024 Music City Open | R2B9 | Wysocki, Hebenheimer, Dickerson, Humphries | Gatekeeper Media

The 2024 Music City Open is presented by Lone Star Discs and takes place at Mil Ridge Park Disc Golf Course. Nathan Queening and Andre Heckl are on hand to provide coverage of the event, which is already halfway through its competition. The duo discusses their thoughts on the course, noting that it offers a good mix of elevation change, softer trees, and green moves. Ricky Waki and Chris Dickerson are among the top players still in contention, while Lukas Humphrey and Jake Keimer have work to do to catch up. The group highlights specific holes, such as the 783-foot par-4 with a water carry, where a strong clockwise spin is crucial for crossing the water hazard and reaching the basket. The discussion also touches on strategies for navigating narrower fairways, like those found on holes with branches that require discs to stall around them before landing safely. Throughout their conversation, Queening and Heckl provide insight into the players' strengths and weaknesses, as well as their own approaches to the course.
