foreign coverage of the 2023 open at Austin this is a brand new event to the disc golf pro tour and we are very very excited to cover it with you I'm Andrew fish joined here by Nathan Queen yes and we are out here at the Harvey Penick disc golf course uh what seems to be a beautiful piece of property I'm excited to get to watch this and bring in a brand new course to the disc golf pro tour this year yeah our first look so a lot of reason to be excited about it our card today Freddie Meza of Lone Star disc in Texas Simon lazat Paul McBeth and Calvin heinberg you see they're the 2023 disc golf pro tour standings following Waco what stands out to you uh Calvin heinberg up top and the youngster Kyle Klein right there just behind him yeah for sure Freddie Meza backhand dominant player sponsored by Lone Star he'll be putting with those Blue Bonnets and it's a good day to have a mad cat and some bayonets in the back definitely going to be a windy windy day and Simon lizap putting with the anodes and as you said the winds are the stable stuff in his bag gonna be going with that pyro prism and maybe some deliriums and Nitros out there we've seen Paul Macbeth already on gatekeeper media coverage a couple times this year we know he putts with that Luna he's going to be throwing lots of buzzes and then a mix of drivers expect to see some zeuses for the downwind shots forces for the upwind thank you we've also seen Calvin heinberg putting with the KC Pro avrs pretty simple for the mid-ranges probably see some rock 3 and Toro mostly today and then the overstable stuff so maybe some Eagle Draco and maybe even some quasars out there cool to see that in the bag straight into hole one a difficult way to start they wanted to bring you into this brand new course making sure you know it's okay to get a par 462 feet downhill OB on the left OB on the right very difficult to reach besides a 500 foot forehand thank you ready Mesa Freddy Mesa originally from Mexico now makes his home in Houston and until two months ago he was working construction but now...
