2026 Cosmic Open at Maple Hill x MVP | R1B9 FEATURE | Moriarty, Brooks, Capaccioli, Longenecker

The 2026 Cosmic Open at Maple Hill, proudly presented by MVP Disc Sports and Cosmic Disc Golf, continues with the back nine featuring a competitive field including Moriarty, Brooks, Capaccioli, and Longenecker. Cast members Dererick and Chris provide live commentary on the R1B9 feature, tracking a colorful round where players are battling between bogeys, birdies, and pars. The broadcast highlights the current scoring dynamics, noting that several competitors are hovering around plus one as they attempt to push into the negative. Viewers will hear detailed analysis of Hole 10, which has undergone significant changes with the tee gap repositioned further to the right compared to previous years. The hosts debate the strategic implications of the new layout, contrasting the older, more difficult right-side approach with the current setup that allows for a straighter throw and a bailout to the left. Although some players note the hole feels shorter and less of a slog than its predecessor, the consensus remains that it is a challenging and distinct addition to the course. The segment also serves as a promotional push for the upcoming MVP Open, encouraging fans to secure their tickets for what promises to be another exciting event in the disc golf calendar. This back-nine coverage offers an immersive look at the local scene and the strategic adjustments required at one of the sport’s premier venues.
