Gatekeeper Media's coverage of The Open at Austin's round one feature card is presented in this video. Join hosts Andrew Fish and Nathan Queen as they provide analysis on the challenging back nine holes designed by Leadership Crew. They discuss the difficult par from Freddie Meza, who holds 21st place despite a strong front nine performance. The duo examines hole ten, which features an out-of-bounds carry over rough and a tricky green that requires precision to land on the optimal skip shot path. Nathan Queen reviews Macbeth's overstable disc, noting its reliance on lower shots rather than long drives, while Andrew Fish analyzes Simon's putting strategy, comparing it favorably to Calvin's approach. The video also touches on the impact of wind direction and speed on gameplay at Austin's course, showcasing various techniques used by players to navigate the challenging layout.

foreign welcome back to the open at Austin this is gatekeeper media's coverage of our round one feature card and this is the back nine I'm Andrew fish joined by Nathan Queen listen we got to see some interesting things on the front nine lots of difficult holes to score on some odd shapes lots of wind causing that as well and uh totally par front nine from Freddie Meza not something that you see really ever no and that and that still has him in 21st Place uh pretty ambitious design that this uh leadership crew has put together uh and uh the scores are reflecting how challenging it is to manage yeah you see right here uh top of the leaderboard at three down through nine holes on hole 10 we're going to face a uh an out of bounds carry over some shul and then a green that is right exactly where you would want to land a skip shot there's also out of bounds left and uh you could go long in theory left to right crosswind and Tailwind here makes it difficult to pull your disc all the way back across and but Freddy hugging the line in balance like you said earlier on the front nine coverage unlike Vegas a lot of this has kind of a Sandy base so although you hit that green you will get some skip you're not gonna get that big skip that you usually expect to see from ball golf greens Macbeth was something very overstable this looks like a I think Halo destroyer from heinberg I think I'm kind of surprised to see the the lower line drives which would be reliant on that skip rather than airing it out High bird gets a little bit of a roll out that does checkup and Bounds in circle two I think they may be going with those lower shots looks like a little bit of a headwind left to right get it up too high could kind of stall out onto that green Simon getting a similar role to Calvin but curls back around a little quicker gonna be inside Circle one wow very similar look and direction to the previous putt he had had on hole nine that he didn't make a good effort at this one high right side good cash yeah now we're making some...
