foreign disc golf fans we are back with coverage of the birdie open 2022 Newark Delaware this is an eightier and this is gatekeeper media's coverage of the mpo lead card I'm Andrew fish joined in the booth by Nick Hansen hey folks how we doing today all right Nick we've made it through the back through the front nine everyone's holding steady at two down with our lead card of Michael Johansen Matt Bell Kevin Kiefer and Cody Bradshaw what are you looking for in the back nine I would say some similar play if you can get a couple birdies on each nine and just minimize the bogeys you're going to be in a good spot but I think it's easy to get bogeys and it's harder for the birdies so yeah the back nine definitely plays a little tougher if you look at that round two front nine leaderboard we got a couple people on that Chase Card move moving in good position so if you want that lead card spot on the final day this entire card is going to need to make a push as we go into the back nine and here we are hole 10 615 feet it's a par four players are going to try and get just back where we were to then hopefully get up here pretty technical tee shot I would say a lot of right hand players will throw the like cut sidearm um I know Matt threw it yesterday but it looks like he's opting for the backhand today yeah I wonder if that's a a damage control thing or if he if he's figured something out in the meantime forward that's up there pretty far but it's probably a little bit too left to make a real move yeah and I think that's the issue with the normal Heiser route if you throw it this way however it looks like MJ got the pushing hyzer flip shot that's going to ride that Fairway as you can see here and he's doing a significantly a throwaway yeah possibly a little pinched on the left but good movement you see they're leaning on the cooler tournament director Vince sutlik Vince has been very involved with the the Delaware Disc Golf Scene for quite a while as the tournament director for this event as well as fundraising director for...
