2021 Texas State Disc Golf Championship | RD1, B9 | Grider, Dickerson, Oakley, Nicholson | PDGA NT
Watch the back nine coverage of Round 1 at the 2021 Texas State Disc Golf Championships presented by Latitude 64. Four top players - Chris Dickerson, Nolan Grider, Eric Oakley, and Jonathan Nicholson - compete in this PDGA National Tour stop. Expert commentary from Brian Earhart and Nathan Queen provides insight into the challenging Dogwood course. They analyze the pros and cons of each player's strategy, including the importance of accurate drives and precise approach shots. The duo breaks down specific holes, such as par 4 10, which demands a high-flaring drive to reach the protected basket at the bottom of the hill. Players like Chris Dickerson, who starts strong, and Nolan Grider, who takes advantage of luck on his line, showcase their skills in this gripping coverage. Meanwhile, Eric Oakley's technique is on display as he unleashes a hyzer shot, while Jonathan Nicholson's solid form is hindered by a disc with too much under stability.
