welcome back disc golf fans to the back nine coverage of round two of the 2021 idol wild open presented by dynamic discs i am brian earhart joined here by nate perkins and what started out as a kind of sad dreary round has turned into something special already yeah we're playing ball now they are got some birdies we got some eagles yeah they're playing ball eagle mcmahon is coming back tim barham's coming back you see the front nine here there's some red on these scorecards and the players know what the hot round is it's never that far over double digits but you need to put something five or better if you want to move up the leaderboard and the players up here on the top of the leaderboard are still shooting hot back nine's certainly the harder of the two starting out with this really difficult part three 368 plays closer to 400 interesting pushing heiser yeah the entire way you have no room to go right yep you can't go right you can't really start it out look at the angle tim's lining up stand up early but he sneaks through and he's going to be a zone chipper away from the basket pretty conservative speed right there this is not going to be conservative speed now likes to rip on this hole yeah and this is shaped perfectly for the angle he likes to throw oh come on and it's got to flatten a little bit more this is an angle folks that i want you to study just like nate said with his forehand eagle is so simple the moment he extends on that heiser angle never leaves it and he tilts his spine to match the hyzer angle and works his whole torso rotation around that it's there's no aiming for eagle if his if he's moving in the right direction the disc will go there gorgeous shot even in slow motion it's the timing is still there as soon as his front foot touches is the same moment that his disc is as far back as it's gonna go and it's the same moment that he starts bringing it forward it's like he's hitting a detonator button essentially and we're going d2 from ezra he's been bombing this thing okay oh just hits one of those skinny trees on the right...
