welcome back everybody to the back nine coverage of round one of the 2021 disc golf pro tour championship presented by guaranteed rate i'm brian earhart joined here by nate perkins and uh hornet's nest is playing tough this year it is playing tough this year and these players need to figure it out because they have already cashed for two thousand dollars by making this championship but they need to advance they make another thousand if they advance but the chance at 30 000 stays alive only four players advance from this field of 16 and taking a look at the leaderboard here our players have to do some work and as you see aaron gossage flying in the night before he's on pace to potentially make this final four again lower seat players have a lot more work to do you cannot tie and move on hole number 10 345 feet this is a change from last year it's no longer a par four another one of those things where they put the t-pad in the back of the landing zone for the par four and they pushed the basket back this year often to the right there's two gaps and you can either throw a forehand through this left gap or kind of a flip up backhand through the right it's it's a tough tough line either way oh inside forehand and that's a brutal kick for emerson yeah it's definitely a tough shape really tough to park this one yes and it's not too difficult to hit that initial gap but to actually get it all the way into the circle pretty challenging let's see how bradley does with the backhand here is he going outside i think he thought he was but it looks like he's lining up straight he is going outside wow i think he was trying to go quick flip and that actually pushed him up the fairway a decent amount yeah it wasn't the worst kick he had the right angle on that one just started it off a little too far left and a backhand as well for thomas oh and he was also trying to go outside this tree right here on the left side makes that window so much tighter you can't come in from the left side you have to push it through the gap and then...
