Today's vid we're talking about rollers in disc golf. A very underutilized piece of the game that was used quite a bit back in the day. But you know, as the game has evolved, we've got other choices now. But the roller is still very crucial on a lot of courses, especially if you want big distance shot shaping and overall just some consistency. So, let's talk about it. I got a couple different stabilities I'll show you. I have the underststable roller and then the more stable roller. So, I'll show you guys the differences between those and how to throw them. Okay, first thing we have to get straight is that wind affects a roller more than any other shot in disc golf. Now, you have to have a good knowledge of this or it can hurt you very badly. For example, if you are throwing a roller and you have a right to left wind, it's going to turn like normal, but then once it's on the ground, it's going to sweep the bottom out and it's going to fall on its back really quickly. versus if you have a left to right wind as a right-handed player, it's going to hit the ground and it's going to carry it. You're probably going to see it take some hops. It's going to hop right, but it's not going to want to land on it on its back. So, that's kind of the differences with rollers. Tailwind, it's pretty similar to how a backhand would fly with tailwind and headwind. Headwind will just exaggerate it and flip it over quick, and a tailwind will keep it stable a bit longer. But, uh, overall, watch out for crosswinds when you're throwing rollers. And in general, if there's high wind, just don't throw rollers. First one we'll talk about is the easy roller in my opinion. This is the quick flip roller. Now this is thrown with a very understable disc. Right now I have the forge function which is absolutely perfect from Dismania for rollers. This is so extremely understable and for my arm speed if I throw it out there flat it'll turn hit on the perfect cut angle get the distance I want and then always finish on its back which is a very consistent roller. And then the other roller you have is more of like...
