What is MVP Doing With The New Simon Line? | Grip Locked Clips MVP's new Simon line has sparked curiosity among disc golf enthusiasts, and griplockedclips dives into what's behind this unique marketing move. Specifically, the company is pre-ordering a limited run of discs exclusively for dealers, with a whopping 10 units allocated to each retailer, regardless of their tier or status. This bold strategy raises questions about fairness to consumers and the potential impact on sales. With a minimum MSRP of $40, dealers are expected to sell these discs at a premium price. As usual, stock runs will follow, but with higher prices than standard releases. The video invites viewers to share their thoughts on this unconventional approach, highlighting its pros and cons for both MVP and the consumer base.

speaking of molds we got a new mold that just came out part of the Simon line um well it hasn't really come out yet it's been pre-ordered but nobody's going to actually have their hands on it because everybody only gets 10 well this is the thing so MVP is doing something that other manufacturers have never really done before and I just want to get thoughts on it so basically this first run MVP went super limited first run with dealers so they normally MVP the first runs for my um remembrance they sell themselves on like their Pro Shop and then the like actual firstr run stock stuff comes to dealers this time they said hey we're going to sell them to dealers all dealers no matter what tier you're on period get 10 each Max I don't even think Super limited is the right word I think it's like you just won't get one well no cuz super limited like there's a lot of dealers yeah so had they put it on their it's probably the same amount as their for their protos they normally make it's just the spread amount of I mean if there's 500 dealers in their Network that's 5,000 discs that's probably a normal release yeah it's a weird one but anyways 10 each and then this is the kicker here MSRP and also map I believe so the minimum in the ma and the suggested is $40 um for these so dealers are getting 10 each most dealers are going to want 10 each and they're selling them for $40 stop stock runs are going to come soon with the normal like Conrad line pricing so a little bit more than just stock MVP that makes sense normal pricing those are going to be like not unlimited but like just stock discs so like if they sell out of the first they're going to make more so normal stock time lapses are coming what are your thoughts on this model for the initial release of Simon's disc well I think it's dumb I think that it is a little unfair to the consumer I I think the only when I first heard heard about this I thought that they were going to just sprinkle it to the retailers and then just have it direct to Consumer and that was just evil...
