Drew Gibson's recent tweet has sparked a lively debate among disc golf enthusiasts on GripLocked Clips. The topic at hand revolves around the design of baskets and targets in the sport. Gibson questions why course designers are required to adhere to specific height standards set by the PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) when he proposes raising the basket above ground level, thereby altering its design. Gibson's remarks have drawn comparisons to the NBA, where players have successfully pushed for rule changes, including adjustments to the three-point line and ball size. The discussion also touches on the need for more flexibility in course design, with some arguing that elevated baskets can make holes too easy. With expert analysis and insider knowledge from GripLocked Clips, viewers will gain insight into the intricacies of disc golf equipment and target design.
