hey guys i'm ezra with team otb and i'm here to help you out with your footwork a little bit i've got some some tips and kind of key points that you want to hit in your run-up that can hopefully help you have a more efficient throw let's jump right into it okay so kind of the most important thing with the one up is to just keep it nice and slow nice and controlled um really just keep it simple i'm just gonna teach like a three-step one-up with just one foot two feet three steps um and that's kind of all you need so the first thing with that first foot that first step you want your foot to be basically pull the nipple to the target and then as you cross back with that x step keep it nice and small you don't need a very big step here i see a lot of people kind of oval step their ex step and get this foot like way torn around the hips all the way away from the target with our butt basically faces the target and this is actually really not a powerful position to be in because you have to move your hips all the way around to the target and it's just way too much movement to have any speed so keep that x step nice and small keep this foot um slightly toned away from the target it's really more perpendicular to the toggle than you think um you don't need your hips to rotate back very much at all just just slightly to kind of create an x factor ah right here like kind of spring between your hips and your shoulders so small x step and then have that plant foot uh come in have the heel of it kind of line up with the toe of your left foot so if this would be one line to the target between like my feet you want your foot to be offset just a little bit kind of like over here so offset just like that and then you want this foot to be like perpendicular to the target as well maybe even just slightly toned back if you think having your toe hit false and then the heel that's a good way to kind of force it into this slightly...
