Missing Putts Low?? Aim Low!!//Disc Golf Drill
Ezra from Team OTB shares a quick mind trick to help golfers improve their putting skills in this disc golf drill. By focusing on low misses and using a "low-to-high" approach, Ezra aims to help viewers adjust their release point and aim point to sync up and achieve more consistent mid-range putts. This technique is particularly useful for those struggling with low misses, but can also be applied to other types of misses such as high or left shots. With the goal of making the transition back to aiming in the middle easier, this drill helps viewers develop a better balance between release point and aim point, resulting in more accurate putts.

hey guys i'm ezra with team otb and in this video i'm going to talk about a quick little mind trick to hopefully help you make some more putts so uh let's get right into it so i'm going to use low misses as the example since i think that's the most common miss in disc golf um if you're aiming low and missing low that could be the issue i think most people probably already aim uh in the middle of the chains maybe picking this link and focusing on that and trying to hit that link if you're all doing that and still missing low and that means that your release point and your aim point are not synced up and that is what we want to fix in this video we want to get you to a point where you can aim in the middle and have your putt go in the middle we don't want to fix low misses by aiming high because at some point i have to keep aiming higher up and higher up and at some point you know i mean 20 feet above a basket to make a 20 foot putt and we do not want that that's kind of ridiculous um so we're going to try to kind of force it the other way we're going to actually aim low and try to make the putt so if you can aim downhill at the cage and have the disc go in the basket then what you're doing is you're forcing your mind to adjust your release point to higher up and what this will do is kind of balance out those two points again and you'll find that when you go back to aiming in the middle that uh it's way easier to get the disc up and you might even start missing high which is you know of course easier to fix this is you know not something you'd want to do in a tournament you'd want to do this just for 10 or 20 putts as a drill just to kind of sink those two points back up um this also works for any miss if you're missing right or high or left or whatever if you're missing high you know i would say to aim with the band and try to make the putt and then you go...
