what's going on guys welcome back to the channel today we have a new series kicking off i'm going to be kind of trying to show you guys into kind of the mind of a pro disc golf on kind of what we think about when we look at sultan shots and consulting you know situations on the quartz today being the first one we thought it'd be a good idea to start on the first tee of a tournament or of course whatever and kind of what my thought process is going into the ramp so with that being said let's jump right into it so it can be kind of easy to have some knobs going into that false tee shot i actually kind of like to use those knobs um it kind of means that what i'm doing matters to me and that i want to be there you can kind of use that excitement and adrenaline to your advantage i do try to calm them and control them but i don't try to get rid of them completely it can also be easy to kind of overthink things on the false tee shot and maybe put too much stock into that false throw um you can't make or break around just with one throw obviously you want to start off well but you don't necessarily have to be super aggressive and you know have a super hot start in order to have a good round but at the same time you don't want to just play too safe just to make sure you get off the box you know you want to just throw the shot that the hole calls for and kind of treat it like any other shot um on the course going into the false t-shot of a tournament of course i've played the hole um in practice and hopefully it's some different wind conditions and so i know kind of what i want to throw today on this hole um we don't really have any wind to speak of and then if you look at the t sign here it's a 570 foot pole wall pretty wide open no real danger so this is one where i really want to get aggressive there's really no penalty for kind of messing up a shot so playing too safe would be a definite mistake...
