DGPT MatchPlay Course Preview | w/ Gannon Buhr & Alden Harris!
Join Gannon Buhr and Alden Harris at Bayley Colorado as they preview the DGPT MatchPlay course. The duo is eager to tackle this challenging hole, which boasts an impressive elevation change of over 8,000 feet. As they discuss their strategies, it becomes clear that the unique elevation will significantly impact disc flight, making it a "crap shoot" to predict how each shot will behave. Gannon shares his thoughts on the tee box and wind direction, while Alden admits that he's never thrown from such an extreme height before. The two discuss their approach to navigating this hole, with Gannon opting for a relatively stable throw and Alden considering factors like disc stability and spin. With only two days of practice left before the competition, they'll need to rely on their skills and adaptability to make it through the MatchPlay course.
