i know you're a huge disc golf family yes i like playing with some of your dream dream come true um i've been able to watch the pros play for a long time and i've been able to attend some tournaments in minnesota um but i've never been able to sit there on the t-pad and watch people at world-class level top 10 in the world level throw a disc and as someone who plays three times a week and has for 27 years that is i'm obsessed about it i'm geeked out i'm fangirling like you wouldn't believe but the the arm speed you know we talk about this in in other sports right with tennis uh with hockey you know that you have to be right there down with the players to appreciate the speed and the technique and these are world-class athletes and it's i'm just so thrilled that the sport is growing and going mainstream that i got a chance a once-in-a-lifetime chance to do this it's just incredible so 27 years i mean that's a long time yeah i started out with all you know it's all the old innova dx plastic i mean that was it you know a couple of old disc craft discs and it was i was good about 10 years ago and then everything's started going downhill i can't close my hand um but the great thing about this sport even if you have physical challenges you can still play this sport so i just you know dink and dunk my way down and i have as much fun as anybody out there doesn't matter whether i take a two or a seven on a par three it's it's just a blast to play and the challenge is still there um and i think that's something that's really great about disc golf as as a sport you know there's so much possibility for people who have you know physical challenges it's a great healing sport uh for veterans with ptsd for special needs kids you know you have your own gear can go at your own pace and it's almost like a yoga if you're playing alone and undisturbed or just quietly with a friend and so it can do so much for you and as someone who likes to keep score who's really competitive it keeps you moving right...
