what's up guys Brody here I'm here Florida alumni frojo and uh today we're going to go over how to flick hu okay and this is kind of a throw that a lot of people struggle with um it's a lot more difficult to figure out how to throw a 70 yard flick than a backhand so we're going to really spend a lot of time on learning the thing that we do a little differently with our grip how we change the bigger Motion in our shoulders and then a lot of the power for flick forehand okay a hook is coming from the lower body the hips and the core are crucial so we'll go over that today and hopefully that'll help you guys out so we're going to start with the same grip as in the forehand video if you haven't checked it out check it out before you watch this we'll put a link right here for you um with the forehand grip the only thing we're going to change is we're just going to tighten it harder okay it's the same two fingers on the inside the same two fingers on the outside the thumb is in the same position I'm just going to squeeze it tighter okay and that's going to give me a little more rotation all right so now we're going to talk about the shoulders and the Torso okay you're going to rotate your shoulders and you're going to rotate your torso together and before if you're throwing it underneath pass for a forehand there's a little bit of a rotation there all we're going to do is emphasize that and make it a little bigger okay bigger motion lower body we're going to get our right leg active into the throw some of you guys might be able to throw really well when you get an up the Line pass okay if I'm cutting up the line I catch it and I go to throw a FP I can throw a lot better than when I'm stationary why is that because you're moving all your body forward and that's giving you the power so what I like to do a drill I like to run is I'll have my left leg in front of my right leg okay and I'll go back and I'll just have my toe up on...
