ARP- Disc Review - Westside Discs Gatekeeper

The Westside Discs Gatekeeper is put to the test in this disc review, where we dive into the details of this 2019 release from the Trilogy Challenge series. With a speed for glide of 5.2 and a stability of 2, the Gatekeeper promises to deliver a smooth and stable flight. Reviewer Bobby Brown provided the disc for this evaluation, and we appreciate his support in bringing it to our attention. The Gatekeeper features a unique blunt nose design that contributes to its impressive speed for glide, while also providing a comfortable grip. The flat top shape makes it easy to establish a power grip, similar to other popular models like the EMac Truth or Warrant. As tested on the field, the Gatekeeper delivers consistently straight shots with subtle hyzer angles and gentle fades, making it an excellent choice for players of all skill levels.

all right we got our hands on the Westside discs gatekeeper this is the 2019 entrance into the trilogy challenge from Westside discs as you can see from the numbers there this is a speed for Glide of 5 200 0 fate of 2 first of all I just want to thank Bobby Brown for getting this disc out to us we really appreciate the support from Bobby Brown a time at this and giving us a chance to review this disc as you can see from the bottom here has a bit of a blunt nose to it which probably lends to that speed for this VIP plastic feels very good it's a flat top not really much of a pop top there at all the bottom feels very smooth if there is a feed it's maybe a micro be that best doesn't look like anything that's going to be too intrusive or get in the way of some clean releases very easy to establish a power grip on this feels similar to an eMac truth or a verdict or warrant in that type of lineup a fan grip is also very easy to do for this type of approach this the give on it feels good there's a little bit of a give to the top here which lets you kind of dig your thumb in and feel comfortable like you're gonna be able to establish the good grip so let's take it onto the field and see what it does all right the gatekeeper in the field this was my first throw with it and I just thought wow I mean this is a dead straight slightly hyzer shot right in the middle of the field never in question as to what that this was going to do so then you start to experiment with the angles and see how it's gonna hold over on a knees this is just a subtle Anheuser throw with a good amount of height and you can see it just works over to the right very slowly at the end that's zero two kicks in on the fade and just falls gently down to the ground when you power these up a little bit um I'm a little bit skeptical about the zero to just because when you power up as you can see that one has it just a touch...
