The action is heating up as Raven Newsom takes the lead over Emerson Keith and Gannon himself, with Niklas on the chase card just three strokes behind. The tour's first event on the GoThrow tour features challenging windy open holes that will test players' skills. Specifically, hole 10 is a par-three, 391-foot shot that proved tricky in practice, but surprisingly easier to navigate during the tournament due to a tailwind. The group discusses the importance of adapting to wind conditions and using techniques like the towel play to maximize their throws. Gannon, Gavin, and Niklas share their experiences on this difficult hole and beyond, offering insights into the strategies that will determine the winner of the Cancer Playbook Open 2.

Welcome to the back nine of the final round here at the Cancer Playbook Open 2, presented by GoThrow. This is the first event on the GoThrow tour. We're in Terrell, Texas at the Hideaway Disc Golf Ranch. I'm Gannon Burr with Gavin Babcock. Coverage is sponsored by Infinite Discs. After the front nine, you can see Raven Newsom has taken the lead over Emerson Keith and myself. And Niklas on the chase card after that pretty hot front nine is only three strokes back. So, anything can happen, especially as we get into the windy open holes with some out of bounds. We are now on hole 10. It is a par three, 391 ft. Now, the wind in practice was completely opposite of what we got in the tournament. In practice, this hole was almost unreachable. And in the tournament, we had pretty much tailwind. So, you're going to see some flat to highs or shots. This one's definitely difficult to access. A lot of people are going to going to be hitting trees and falling down short of the basket. Yeah, this one was super interesting cuz it's tail and it felt like more right to left today. But, you're not really seeing these swing like a right to left. I think the little cold cold change even more so over the water is allowing these discs to drop a little harder. That was great. And absolutely great shot by Niklas. I'm sure the towel will save him here. Dang, it worked. A little inside. Definitely inside though. I mean, I like the towel play, but the only problem I did have with it was it messed with my focus and I would just definitely not even hit my line. And that looks like that could have happened there to him. That's the width you're looking for. That one should get up there nice and close. Come on. Oh, it's a lot of that last tree. Just a tiny bit more height and that would have been perfect. Isaac. He's just all out of sorts. Didn't start that one out near wide enough. At least he has two world titles. Quick pitch up by the double champ. Got to keep the cameramen on their feet....
