In a nail-biting finish, Paige Pierce emerged victorious at the Green Mountain Championship, claiming her first win of the season. The tournament saw intense competition from top players Missy Gannon and Ohn Scoggins, but Pierce's determination and skill ultimately earned her the top spot.

Pierce's winning streak on Tour extends to 15 consecutive years, with an Elite Series or PDGA Pro Major win in each year since 2011. Her victory was not without its challenges, as she faced a three-way playoff on the final hole. With a clutch 20-foot putt on hole 18, Pierce forced the playoff and then proceeded to crush her tee shot and perfectly pin the upshot.

When asked about her momentous win, Pierce reflected on the significance of being part of the women's division: "Going into a playoff is bigger than just me or Missy or Ohn; it's for FPO, and we deserve it. We're grinding every week, fighting for cash."

Pierce attributed her success to her preparation and mindset, stating that she had been practicing match play and staying calm under pressure.

In the men's division, Paul McBeth secured his second win of the season at Smugglers' Notch. McBeth battled a slow start but rallied down the stretch, eventually winning by two strokes over Gannon Buhr. His victory was marked by an impressive -39 score for the tournament.

McBeth attributed his success to minimizing mistakes and avoiding big numbers: "Today I felt like I was pretty flat all day, but I wasn't taking bogeys. That's what kept me in it."

The win cements McBeth's position as a top contender on Tour, with 1734.73 points in the DGPT MPO World Standings.

Other notable performances included Cole Redalen's third-place finish at -36 and Paul Krans' career-best fourth-place finish at -35. Ohn Scoggins and Missy Gannon provided strong challenges but ultimately fell short.

The Green Mountain Championship marked an exciting conclusion to the tournament, with many players vying for top spots. As the season continues, fans can expect intense competition from these talented athletes.

In a thrilling moment of luck, two players – Evan Smith and Simon Lizotte – each recorded double aces on hole 10 at Brewster Ridge over the weekend.
