welcome to ulti world's coverage of the 2013 Us open as we get set for this semi-final matchup between Washington DC's Scandal and Seattle's Riot these two teams having both played very well this weekend a little more up and down for Scandal and riots played pretty consistently throughout the weekend and it's going to be a great matchup Charlie Eisen Hood alongside Keith rer and Keith what are some of the keys to this game for these two teams well these two teams have seen each other once before uh over the past couple of days during this tournament in pool play uh and Riot and scandall matched up pretty evenly except for about an eight-point period when Riot was able to take control of the game and dominate with their defensive pressure this is a team that's known for the kind of man defense that they the pressure they apply downfield now that's something Showdown or Scandal excuse me excels that as well but Riot's been able to take it to another level I talked with uh with skle Coach Alex gire before the game and he said that the defensive pressure really surprised their team caught them off guard took them out of their comfort zone and they're much they're much better prepared for it this time and he actually expects a much closer game this time around so the team's playing even except for that long run in the middle by Riot and maybe that sounds like it's just a blowout but really when they're both teams are playing at their best it's close matchup so we'll see what happens in the semi-final it's
