this video is brought to you by Savage ultimate hi I'm Charlie Eisen Hood with ulti world and I'm here with Kurt Gibson of Austin's double wide and they just won the championship uh taking down the reigning Champion San Francisco revolver um and uh Kurt Gibson was our pick for uh The Savage ultiworld MVP of the game so I'm want to give this to you right now thank you appreciate it um and so you guys uh it you really you dominated the entire game it was really at one point uh revolver made a run and got it back tied at 11s but you guys rattled up too and uh made it clear like you guys had it in the bag this year um revolvers knocked you out the last two years what did you have to do to uh sort of get over that hump and and get past them this year you know uh this year was you know uh an interesting year we had a lot of injuries early on so it was tough for us to kind of get out of the gate early um with the performances as far as ECC and Labor Day uh cuz we had so many key injuries and guys missing so it really all culminated for us here at the end at the at the national championships here so um and really every game we just got better and better so we couldn't have asked for anything more you your coach mentioned to me that in the quarterfinals against goat at halftime there was like a change and sort of the team really came together in that moment and the stop being about anything else except sort of playing together as a team and then you really use that momentum going forwards into the game yesterday against Ironside and then again today against revolver um does that ring true to you uh I would definitely agree with that we were down 85 at half and we kind of it shouldn't have been that score we were playing better than the score um but I think at that point we really found ourselves you know the character of this team cuz we really hadn't had that before um cuz like I said in the beginning of the year as far as e Labor Day uh we didn't have...
