this video is brought to you by savage ultimate this morning uh blackbird won over polar bears 15-9 to take the 2012 mixed division club championships i'm here with two of their players ulti world and savages mvps number two susan patchelder number 24 daniel gillick um here we give them their mvp jerseys um so a few questions uh number one we were actually just talking about this but you know you guys didn't have necessarily the most impressive regular season uh but when it counted you guys won it all this year and you actually did the same thing last year so clearly you know you guys know what does it take to win on that big stage what would you say um yeah i mean our team doesn't practice a lot like that's sort of our it has a lot to do with our philosophy you know yeah we don't practice every weekend but the team hangs out together a lot we spend a lot of time together we sort of know that we're building towards this one goal so we're willing to forgive every we treat every tournament like a practice you know every tournament leading up to nationals for practice and as long as we get it done at the end that's all that counts i think it has a lot to do with that i spoke with your captain uh yesterday actually and he mentioned that your depth is one of your big strengths do you guys think that was a key in this game today after a long like four day tournament i mean i was just talking to another teammate about what made this game look so funny um i think fun is also a big part of what makes our team successful but truly everybody contributed and everybody touched the disc and everybody was involved and everybody made big plays it's not like yeah one thing that's unique about our team is that we don't have anybody calling out the lines people run out there and you know sometimes we'll make changes but everyone wants everyone else out there everyone is trying to figure out who the best line is to match up against who they've got um obviously one of the big stories this weekend is the wind right perhaps the big eighth player uh did you guys do anything...
