the moment when we beat Western Washington University on universe point to make it to Nationals one guy instantly phoned his mom and bought flights from Shanghai where he lives on the sidelines immediately after the game and then the rest of us over the next week all started organizing flights getting them as quick as possible where they got too expensive my name is David I go to University of Victoria in Canada I'm a fifth year captain if we score this when I'm going upwind on defense again we're gonna be late that said of course note we're gonna be really tight force them under and try to go for that run through all right we always have to come to the states to play every tournament we don't play in the Canadian series at all so unless we're just playing UBC in a one-off game then we all come down to the States it started off as a very ragtag team that could barely get seven people out to a tournament and then a few people who had played ultimate before decided to come out to the island for university to the University of Victoria some people like John Norris Kevin Underhill his brother Blair Underhill they came out and really took the club from being just that ragtag team to a club that had a lot of members every year I started becoming more and more competitive and the dream went from making it to regionals to eventually making it to Nationals and now finally here we are it's been really exciting for all of us we're all really close you
