my name is Leah Forrester and I play for the UCSB burnin skirts making it to Nationals as a freshman is obviously an incredible experience going to that spirit captain and captain meeting and seeing all these people that I recognize from Callahan videos or like highlight videos or reading about the different articles was absolutely wild and there was one point where they had a stop and like look around the room they look around the room you are the future of ultimate and that was absolutely incredible to realize that we were such a part of such a bigger thing that's growing so much it was such a special moment to like see that our team was like going to Nationals with so many rookies and the vets were finally able to go after joining a team that they had heard about that always went to Nationals and just bringing that tradition back and being able to make frisbee a more legitimate thing like on campus and it's been such a great season
