my name is Evan Caldwell and I play for Auburn actives when I first came to Auburn as a freshman they never made Nationals before but there was a culture change going on about how we could become an elite team if we focused on being like brothers first we focused on keeping our spirits up on the sidelines we focused on making sure we invested in our relationships off the field then it would lead to results directly on the field so basically that transition took place and then we started winning some games I know we got invited to Stanford to invite the next year that was a huge deal and then we ended up sort of accidentally making nationals with Tulane getting disqualified after we made Nationals that first year even though we didn't do super well it's it like a new precedent for Auburn teams especially since there were a bunch of freshmen that came in and like helped the team do that now we have to like budget for making national it's like it's just an entire culture an entire team shift and it's been really cool to be a part of individually maybe I did some of it like mostly rebranding for like the new high toast and and then a few years are a couple years later me and my friend Rocco the other offensive captain got it got a tattoo so it was a little surreal to see him draw the lines that I had drawn a couple years before but um but yeah I mean we love this team this teams but the most important thing to ever happen to me so I'll be eternally grateful for that experience
