The people's division taking center stage, it's the D3 Easterns men's recap featuring the number one ranked Middlebury Pranksters and number 16 Claremont Brain Eaters. New England versus Southwest. Super fun to have connectivity at this tournament with a lot of the top D3 teams in attendance in Wilmington, North Carolina. Brain Eaters on O first. And it's a clean hold. Ryan Williams delivers a big flick huck to Elijah Axt. Hoping to find the big man again. Claremont issues their third turnover of the point. And Middlebury [music] looks to attack right away. William Reynolds tracks down this popped up throw and then uses the vision as he hits Gavin Rice for the first break of the game. Let's keep that break train rolling. The Pranksters get a huge deep block from Oscar De Swan Aarons, last year's breakout player of the year. This sets up a three-letter initial combo. Louis Deville Boulden, otherwise known as LDB, finds Jasper Pearcy Khan, JPK, for the team's third straight goal. Don't blink cuz Claremont can play some defense, too. Ryan Williams stays in the lane, heads-up defense, and extends for the block. Back on offense, Williams puts out this flick huck, and Jack Swiper Parody does the fake jump on Gavin Rice, and that will get the Brains the hold. Next offensive point for Claremont, it's Gerhardt from Middlebury disrupting things, swooping in with the right hand for the block. LDB shakes free, and it's 8-5 Middlebury at half. Halftime calls for a dance party and vibes were high at D3 Easterns. Right out of the break, Gerhardt's throw too low, and count how many passes here. One, and then two. That's all it takes for Claremont to get the break. Jamie Miller kept his dancing shoes on from halftime. A string of clean holds in the middle of the second half. Our Ananya Kramer, otherwise known as Skuzzy, drops a nifty high release backhand to Parody. Middlebury counters right away as LDB puts a backhand to Oscar De Swan Aarons down the line. Turning point of the game, high stall situation, couple of fakes, lockdown defense from the Pranksters, forcing the Brains to have to punt this disc. Going the other way, Middlebury without many O-line crossovers, finds the end zone. Nadav Malamed throws the assist, but hold up. Some discussion ensues with Isamu Sims about a possible travel, but...
