one of the most anticipated games of the mid-atlantic regionals was the rematch between pittsburgh's oakland and philadelphia's southpaw and sunday semifinals at sectionals oakland got the big upset over paw throwing doubt into who would advance to the finals this game however didn't start well for oakland on the first point a drop gave southpawn easy break with greg owens hitting nick pirifico they got that break back two points later when jake rainwater's dump came up short and they worked it down to earn the 2-1 lead the offense has traded points including this nice break huck from next gen star tyler de gerolimo to abiding aaron watson but after an oakland overthrow match schmucker would find jabron miser who would flip it back to schmucker for the break on the next point oakland would turn it again but de geronimo would get it back with this huge d but his throw floated leading to another southpaw break to make it 6-4 oakland would lean on dedralimo again with isaac saul putting up a big huck into double coverage but leon chu a good six inches shorter than dedralimo comes up with the huge d southpaw would push their lead to three as dan ferfari hit schmucker for the score paw would pull away early in the second half after continued pressure on the reset caused an oakland turn near their end zone and izzy bryant hit patrick lindsey to make it 10-5 oakland would never get a break in the second half and southpaw would win it on offense with rainwater hitting jake herman to lock up their spot in the finals
