hello and welcome back to another episode of laying it out i'm your host scottie dempsey i'm chelsea pockets and today we're going to be touching on a few different subjects one of them being the olympics because that's of course now even though it doesn't feel like it right no i feel like the hype for the olympics has been pretty low this year i feel like it's like a combination of covid it's all the way in japan so half the games are at like 4 a.m yeah i think it's really the time difference for me like i would watch everything live if i was awake during it but you said i don't know i just haven't been able also you know if i hadn't just moved et cetera et cetera all my general excuses of being busy but that's nothing new um yeah so are you touching on the olympics we're going to be talking about or releasing i don't even know if releasing is the correct word we're going to be doing a brand new segment today called scotty doesn't know and for those of you that don't know so scotty doesn't know as a song um the first line goes scotty doesn't know that fiona and me do it in my van every sunday and scotty's real name is fiona so we like to make jokes that she's cheating on herself um but also we thought it would just be kind of like a clever title to talk about things that scotty doesn't know about the ultimate frisbee community because i was thinking back on it you really only played college for like two years yeah two and a half yeah no two yeah it's two years you started in the spring of your sophomore year you got your full junior year and then senior year was cut in half yeah yeah and then there's all sorts of like niche culture things well aside from culture but today we're talking about the triple crown tour for example and all these things that like have not really crossed my timeline until all of a sudden i had a podcast on this and i was like am i supposed to be an expert so we're hoping that i'll ask the same questions and answer the same things that you guys also don't know and you're not...
