hello and welcome back to another episode of laying it out i'm your host scottie dempsey and i'm chelsea pockets and today for the meat of the episode we have a little bit of skye doesn't know a little bit of get to know our editor lindsay um they play for raleigh radiance and so it's fun to sit down and talk to them about their experience playing professional ultimate compare a little bit with a club and also just get to know them in general so before we get to that pockets has some exciting frisbee updates yes i do i um went to fool's fest this past weekend so also if i sound like [ __ ] right now or sniffly um the weekend was a little physically rough i was looking at my fitbit and i [ __ ] i i did a lot of work this weekend let me let me pull up the stats um on friday 19 000 steps 8.4 miles 3 300 calories born burned saturday 17 000 steps 7.3 miles then sunday 13 000 steps 5.8 miles so a lot of work um anyone that doesn't know fool's fest is a three-day party tournament down in virginia but even though it's a party tournament there is like some serious competition there um i was listening actually to this in the fields fool's fest episode from 2019 um and they mention a philly team that i know um a little well is rabs are us and they are just like generally the team you either have to beat or somehow work your way around in order to win this tournament and i went with a lehigh alumni team we did not come close to touching them we did you play in the no we did not play them thank god we would not have done well we were we were we were struggling on day one so three day part of party tournament we were like all hungover on the first day so it was a rough start good um but yeah tough competition i think we got 27th overall um but overall like really nice tournament there's a beer garden there and if anyone has experienced the wildwood beer garden it is nothing like that it's so much better the wildwood beer garden you are waiting in line for so long in...
