In one of the most anticipated games of this year's Emerald City Classic, the defending US and world champion San Francisco Revolver took on Boston's Ironside in a rematch of last year's finals at Club Nationals. After trading points early, Revolver would turn it over in their end zone and Ironside would put up this huck before going on to earn the break to pull ahead 42. They would extend their lead on the next point with a huge layout D leading to this perfect hammer to space for another break. The sides again traded points, but Revolver gave Ironside a shot to take half after this throwaway. The Revolver O line played stingy defense though and got the disc back with this huge bid followed by the easy score. Ironside wouldn't trip up again. They took half 85. Coming out of halftime, ironside smart defending helped create this poached layout and led to another break. The team's offensive lines went back to trading points, mostly on hucks like this before Revolver's Dline finally scored its first point. However, Ironside was not bothered and smoothly worked the disc down the field, easily beating the Revolver D for the score to make it 12-9. Revolver scored to make it 12-10, but with the hard cap looming, they needed a break to have a shot at the win. Ironside's offense again dominated and sealed the victory with this shot to the back of the end zone. With a 13-11 win, Ironside avenged their finals loss from last October and looks poised to again be one of the nation's best teams.
