foreign welcome into double overtime presented by VC ultimate Western ultimate league week one edition Sasha we have our first games in the book for the Western ultimate league uh I'm excited you excited yeah it was a great weekend great great weekend I had a lot of fun watching the games but you were watching different frisbee I was watching the fridge I was about to say um I wanted to watch more of this weekend uh if I could but uh fortunately unfortunately I was out at Stanford invite out in the beautiful Stevenson California watching some college ultimate go down uh spoilers for those who haven't seen the results somehow uh UNC one unsurprising uh a bunch of other things happened which were more surprising Washington beat British Columbia uh Stanford bbyu sorry Sasha uh my alma mater cow B UC Santa Barbara in pre-quarters what it was it was wild but at least we didn't get rained on the entire time so I appreciate that and I did catch at least one of the games live got to see my San Francisco Falcons beat La Astra the check on my picks list we'll get to our picks later reviewing the picks from last week touch it neither of us did great shout out Arizona for uh proofing us and a lot of other people wrong we'll get to that in a sec um and we'll preview next week's games nothing to talk about in the Pol as far as we know at the moment so Sasha should we just get into it talk about the Sidewinder Showdown and all that went down at Arizona let's do it side Runner Showdown it was in Arizona obviously um um yeah we I know we talked a lot about it last week and how like the league was like all right we're gonna throw in the the postseason from last year the play the championship weekend from last year in the very first week of the season and it did not disappoint there's a lot of really fun great matchups a lot of surprising finishes I guess you could say that I was not expecting um so yeah like you were saying shout out Arizona because they went in and they got the job done 2-0 on the weekend um but first well I guess we'll start with the...
