[music] Welcome to Deep Look, Ultim World's Weekly podcast about everything going on in Ultimate Solo show. Here I am your host, Ultral senior editor, Keith Rener. My fellow co-host, Charlie Eisenhood. uh editor-inchief is still in Portugal after the World Beach Ultimate Championships which have wrapped up. Uh and of course, you know, just casual USA wins in every division. No, that's that's not how it went down actually. Uh the US taking the gold in six divisions, including the Masters divisions. That's the Prime Open, the Prime Women's Division, the Masters Mix Division, the Masters Open Division, as well as the Grandmasters Mix, Grandmasters Open, and Grandmasters Women's Division. Uh, so able to nab wins in all those divisions. Canada taking home gold medals in the Masters Women's Division, as well as the Great Grand Masters Open Division. and Australia uh falling to Germany in the gold medal match in the mixed division. Germany of course the team that knocked out the US and you know gota the controversial results for the US women's national team. They defeat uh France in their semifinal and you know lots of controversy around that. You can check out the Instagram to see the call. There was a stall call on the game-winning goal for France that brought the disc back. Uh, and you know, there's been some contention after the fact that Fritz went to WIFF and tried to protest the call because the stall count clearly happened under 10 seconds. Uh, but no, no dice.
