I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog brought to you by discation.com. One nation underpar. We're here at the 2011 Kansas City Wide Open with the final few holes from both the open men's card as well as the ladies card. Team Disc Nation team members Nate Doss and Avery Jenkins are battling it out on the final hole regulation and we'll move over to watch the ladies putt out on their final hole. Sarah Hulcom taps in for a par as will Liz Lopez with a great performance. And your 2011 Kansas City Wide Open champion is going to be Paige Pierce with her second national tour victory this year. Paige has to hug and thank her father who caddied for her the entire weekend. Congratulations, Paige Pierce. Nate Doss is teeing up first on the final hole of regulation here on 18. Hole 18 measures in at 436 feet. Nate's beautiful shot comes up about 35 ft short of the basket, putting all of the pressure on his traveling companion, Avery Jenkins. And Avery with more than enough power, but not enough room to get back in bounds. Avery is OB and shooting for a three from this spot. He must put this in to put the pressure on Nate to get the two. And a low release right out of his hand, leaving it for Nate Doss to capitalize from 35 ft. and he is your 2011 Kansas City Wide Open Champion, Nate Doss. Join the nation, disc nation.
