I'm the disc golf guy and this is my video blog. For the good portion of the last week, I've been out in Pennsylvania, specifically Philadelphia and New Town, playing in some awesome disc golf courses, Tyler State Park, as well as Sedgley Woods. And our gracious host, John Dooler, here, our PDGA marketing director. Um, I got to spend some good time with him and his entire family. John, how you doing today? I'm doing fantastic, Terry. What a thrill to have you all the way from Wisconsin here in Pennsylvania. I know it's your third year coming to our Commonwealth and uh you know you're almost like one of the family now running these tournaments and doing such a great job and I really have to give Terry Miller a lot of credit here. He is showing us how to run a tournament in the most professional manner and what a pleasure to have you here. Well, thanks. I I I wasn't fishing for any compliments there as you as you can even hear in my voice. It's been a long weekend. Uh very little sleep as all tournament directors already know. just a few hours every single night and running around, playing, being outside, and uh just exhaustion has finally set in. But again, you guys are gracious. You put us up. You uh have a beautiful family. Uh thank you so much for uh doing that. You were doing the Philly Open before I came along and helped out a little bit more this year. Talk about uh your role as TD and and where you've transitioned into other roles. I have. you know, the Philly Open started and essentially Woods is such a grassroots course and one, you know, second oldest in the country that I like to say, but you know, the the Philly Open and how it started some 13 years ago was really it's the only PDJ sanctioned event that this course has. And this is a course that sees, you know, literally hundreds, if not thousands of rounds played per week in Philadelphia. So, this is a big event for Philadelphia and really it's grown into a really wellrecoognized event. We're fortunate to be in the Mid-Atlantic uh disc club area and uh it's it's well known. It's sort of the um I'll say the unofficial start to the disc golf...
