Hello everyone and welcome back to another installment of our PDGA global board of directors interviews. Today I'm going to catch up with one Charlie me PDGA 1980. Charlie, we've got a list of questions we're going to rip through here real quick for you uh so that the members and voters can get to know you a little bit better. And I'm going to start out with the easiest one of them all, which is go ahead and introduce yourself. Oh, wow. Uh uh so I'm Charlie me. I'm from uh uh Wales United in United Kingdom. I uh been playing since 1979. I joined the PDGA in 1980, which is like the same as the number. I like that story, so that's okay. Um and I've been involved as a player, uh organizer, TD administrator across the world for the last 45 years or so. Uh, and I'm going to add right away also inducted into the World Hall of Fame in 2023. I'm going to add that one on there even if you're not. So, thank you for introducing yourself. Uh, let's get to some of the questions here that have been written up, which is, why are you running for the global board of directors? Uh, what will your priorities be and what issues will you choose to champion from a seat on the board? Okay, so um, uh, Terry, remember I'm I'm a bit old. That's three questions. I generally forget the last one by the time I get to it. Just give us a little hint. So why am I running? Okay, so I for the last nine years I've been the chair of the World Fly Federation Disc Golf Committee and I've learned so much and uh learned that there's a real interest in in disc golf more on a global level than you would realize. You know, it doesn't matter where people come from. So, uh, when I resigned from the WIFT post on at December, um, and this came up, it just seemed a sort of an a a natural move in the way that the PDJ is moving at the moment. So uh with the announcement of you know two world championships you know outside of America in you know this year and in 2029. Um it seemed that that was a a way of beginning to address the balance...
