Hello everyone and welcome to the 2025 Chainhawk Open 14 presented by Dynamic Disc. We kick things off at the North Side Park in Gainesville, Florida. Gainesville's own Double G along with a previous champion as well in Gavin Wrathbun, last year's defending champ [music] Frederickson and Braden Sides will round out the card. This is our first round feature card front nine action coming at you. A very muggy Friday afternoon sets [music] the stage here at the North Side Disc Golf Park. Hole one, par4, 582 ft. You really want to land right around this [music] ditch area, ideally maybe on the right side of the fairway. That'll give you a pretty good look here to the pin. It slopes down. There is OB on the right side the entire way. Well, pretty much a textbook opening drive here for Double G. Gavin has won this event one time in the past. We'll Okay, we'll eventually see that finish again. Perfectly safe. Yalmar coming off of his victory last year at this event trying to defend the title. you know, he's 18 now, so we'll see what he can do as a legal adult, at least here in the US, as he hails from Sweden. Braden sides, >> nice smooth, buttery shot. And with that, our final card on the course. Feels like double digits is usually one of the hotter rounds. Something you want to be shooting for. And that is left side. Meanwhile, you see how easy this sets up for an approach when you're positioned on the right side. Double G. Basically blind to the hole and puts a little too much hot sauce on it. Braden cleared the ditch. And it hangs on just enough trying to bring that OB into play on the right side. Yalmar really awkward spot to be. Does draw metal, but it looks like he'll be able to escape with a par. And speaking in jail and escaping, Double G has nothing. Look at him contemplating how to even release the disc. >> He said he's never been back there before. Probably hundreds, if not thousands of rounds played here. >> Working hard for the par. Last year hot round was an 11 under during our opening round. Again, I feel like double digits is not only obtainable, but really the pace you want to be setting out here....
