And DGBT and the PDGA both made some mild announcements and even more this week in disc golf. Welcome back discates. Swiss for short here and I'm your host, the one with all the holes in his game. back with another episode of This Week in Disc Golf, the show where I cover all the news from the past week. Of course, on the channel that was influenced by PDGA Rodman memes, and who can forget the white grip belt era, better known as the disc golf world. I want to take a quick moment to shout out first and foremost, Dumpster for rocking the camera while we were out on Dis East. and second to all the fans, vendors, revisited homies, and the new ones we made while at Dis East. With the exclusive drops, disc golf celebrity and legacy in attendance with who knows, maybe even more future DGBT awards banquet attachment has made this event as much of a bucket list stop as Maple Hill that's right down the road. Now, I'm not sure if Disc South can top it, but I sure know that they will try, making that as much of a must stop also. So, if you can snag your tickets, go ahead and do so. And if you want to vend, hit up the mastermind bend as openings are still available. And be prepared for even more ads coming down the future. Now, there was some signings and announcements, but none that stood out more than the victories at the well-known and tough little track at the California stop La Marada Open. An early season warm-up that attracts a number of West Coast pros in the leadup to the season. And trust, I will for sure get to Aaron Goaj's first MVP victory in a moment. But Owagggins put on a commanding display herself with a 10stroke victory over Jennifer Allen, which does remind me to mention that OWN will be rocking a brand new sponsor this season.
