I you know, I don't know what the truth is, to be honest. >> Is Ricky a low-down, no-good, dirty, rotten, scoundrel cheat? It is obvious that Ricky broke the rules. Because he just cheated. I don't think he was really lying. I I don't know that I believe that. Different group chats, chats that I'm in of like, "Did we just see Ricky Wysocki cheat?" What's up, degenerates? It's the Disc Golf World. I'm Jefferson, and we're going to find out if Ricky Wysocki is indeed a no-good, rotten, two-timing cheater. Those aren't my words, by the way, but we'll get to that in a second. Because there's a bigger topic here than just if the raptor-legged man also is a pumpkin eater. If I'm supposed to call this the Disc Golf Pro Tour, I think it's time for professional officiating. Not only that, but as an entertainment product, there needs to be a display of knowing what the hell to do, or us at home will continue to look down upon the actions made. There's a reason stereotypes get made when discussing the industry leaders. That phenomenon carries over to the pros as well. I dare you to try to count all the Ricky Wysocki is a liar cheating comments. Not even Count von Count can do it. Some are obvious jokes, others completely serious. We've actually been receiving messages every day since about how fans have lost respect for Rick, which is still mind-blowing to me. And they got me thinking. I know, shocker. No matter how people see it, the players are the products, and the DGPT should protect them at all costs. Pros should not be forced to make calls that will jeopardize their character. What was the immediate reaction again in stepping up to make the call? Why is Mr. Time Violation making it? In other instances, it was used as a defense under comments calling Wysocki a cheater, which isn't a good comeback, but goes to show how what looks to be a simple call can ruin reputations. Don't believe me? What about Holland Hanley still getting called a cheater for USWDGC? Aaron Gossage's fan base took a hit after the championship. Colten Dollan can't live down dropping out of Emporia in 2023. Adam Hammes is still the bird terrorizer. And there are plenty of examples of fans writing off players for one...
