The PDGA shocks the community with a big multi-year announcement. Spring gets fact checked by Abigail. President's Cup team takes shape and even more this week in disc golf. Welcome back, discerates. You guys know it's me, Swiss Cheese. Yes, the one with all the holes in his game and just one half of the disc golf world. You guys know the disc golf world, the YouTube channel that covers professional disc golf in a fraction of the time compared to the other guys. and welcome to this week in disc golf where I cover all things disc golf from the past week. As the season carries out west and towards the first major of the year champions cup, the PDGA, who has made some unconventional or very non-traditional decisions as of late, used the week to make yet another one. This one including a huge Future Worlds announcement with them throwing out their traditional bid process with this latest awarding. And believe it or not, one that actually doesn't involve Hinehold either, at least as of yet. Instead, the Pro Disc Golf Association announced a multi-year agreement with team disc golf Estonia, bestowing the nation of Estonia with two future major bids on top of the one this year with the now PDGAowned President's Cup attached. One with Christristen L already listed as the first ever female captain along with them dropping the European Open instead favoring the European disc golf festival in the 2026 and 2028. But most importantly though is Estonia and its capital Talin will be the host of the 2029 World Championship, the second ever in Europe and less than five years away from the first one this summer in Finland. Apart from all this great news, leaving Discol Fanatic floating longer than the 10-minute space adventurer Katy Perry did in that Bezos dickshaped ride. This news brought some mixed reviews and even some more questions. None of which is whether or not the European Disc Golf Festival in the nation deserved the award. Certainly not from this guy behind the mic. The event last year, its financial support and overwhelming professionalism with its own stage and pyrochnics changed the game last year.
