Controversy From United States Women's Disc Golf
Jefferson and his co-host discuss their experience at the US Women's Disc Golf Championship (USWDGC), a major tournament that did not quite live up to expectations. The duo ran their first-ever event together in the sweltering heat of 90 degrees, and while they were excited to participate, they found the competition lacking. They attribute this to the challenging courses, which seemed to favor some players over others. Jefferson had initially predicted a podium finish for Haley King, who ultimately won convincingly despite having one bad putting day. The conversation also touches on the struggles of certain performers and the overall feel of the tournament. With a focus on women's disc golf, this video offers insight into the USWDGC and its top players, including Hannah, Emily Weatherman, Haley King, and Eveina.

We ran, like I said, ran our first ever event. Didn't know what to expect. I was out there at USWDGC. A lot of things going on. I think we want to just hop into the event. It was a major after all. Yeah, absolutely. Let's Let's go on. Well, it kind of felt a little lackluster. I'm not going to lie. The ending, you think? It was a little bit of the ending. I think there was like a lot of like just some poor like performances that kind of was like a little jarring at times. Like you let out with such a bad feature card. You had some poor putting from performances and stuff like that. and it was just like h it wasn't like it wasn't like the last probably what almost four or five wins we've seen come out of the FPO as of late. It just felt a little different. Why do you think that was the courses? I think it was the courses. I think the Heat had a play on the win. Yeah. Like I think that had a lot to play. Absolutely. Um and they're tough. You know what I mean? I've played Roland Ridge. It's tough. Yeah. Heading to the final round, we had Hannah on top, Emily Weatherman, Haley King, and Eveina. going into that round, who did you think was going to win or who did you have your hopes for? Uh man, I said before the tournament, I think I even put it in our Slack chat and I was like, "Guys, I think um Haley King is going to podium and I think she has a hell of a chance to win." Makes sense. Local won a ma major there, everything. And she's fresh, you know what I mean? I kind of felt she was going to make a statement. I really do think she did. Um, and she just had one bad putting day from being the champ in all honesty. Winning convincingly, like...
