The 2026 Disc Golf World Championship concludes with a highly disputed finish that has sparked intense debate within the sport’s community. Host Jefferson joins his co-host to dissect the dramatic events of the final round, focusing on the controversial footfall incident that overshadowed the competitive achievements of the week. The discussion dives deep into the newly designed Black Locust course, highlighting its brutal challenges, particularly Hole 15 on the FPO side, which saw an astonishing 100 out-of-bounds strokes over two rounds compared to only eight birdies. The hosts also address the difficulties players faced on Hole 10 of the MO side, noting the severe lack of scoring opportunities in that section. Beyond the on-course action, the episode covers logistical issues such as the finicky RFID timing system and rising VIP costs, offering a candid look at the operational hurdles behind the event. No. [screaming] God, NO. GOD, PLEASE NO. NO, NO, NO. [screaming] >> What's up, degenerates? It's the Disov World. I'm Jefferson and alongside me, the one with all the holes in his game, Swiss cheese, breaking down everything you need to know from the 2026 World Championships. Before we can get into the big germ drama and the controversial footfall, first I got to say thanks to everyone that said hi to us over the week and for those that helped us out along the way. Okay, I waited long enough because from this week I learned apparently we complain too much. That's your Qwiss. There's enough people and creators on the payroll to provide the hype and prestige this event was able to build. Hinold's TD legacy only growing further with the greatest disc golf showcase in the US and possibly Finland's world. So, let's cover some of the other news that will be left off on the others cutting room floors and most likely probably ours if it wasn't for that championship day. And no, I'm really not talking about that footfall mess. Hinold has a hill and now he has an island. And that's hole 15 on the Black Locust, not Lotus, of course. One of the showcased featured holes on the newly designed layout was just as brutal though, especially on the FPO side. One that Elaine King would like to forget. But it needs a mention cuz the hole totaled 100 OB strokes over the two rounds and just eight birdies alone. But it is one hell of a scenic layout and does challenge the pros. All water under the bridge and quickly forgotten about under the pretense that this course will see some seasoning and it will fix itself down the line. Not really though, cuz some of these teapads are already slated for destruction. Rumored as early as this week. Whole 10 on the same track was just as despised. This one coming on the MO side. Birdies were missing just like ice cream in the food court. If you will ignore the VIP rising price tags or that RFID system that was too often was described as finicky, one that didn't allow cash payouts, delays in vendors pay as that gets finalized. And let's not get into really any of the issues over in BPool cuz with the foot traffic already looking...
