Powerball's inaugural integration brought a free hour daily and some questions, but not nearly as many as that Project Black post did. And if you don't have a clue what that is, not to worry, most don't. But stay tuned cuz after some digging, it's more interesting than rehashing week 1's overreactions this week in disc golf. What's good everyone? And I'm your host, Swiss Cheese, the one with all the holes in his game, who brings you all the news from the past week every weekend with the show we call this Week in Disc Golf on the channel that covers the sport in our own way with fast, hard-hitting, scripted commentary, better known as the disc golf world. Now, it might just be a short one cuz I don't want to further exasperate the already narratives that come every start of the season. Say what you will about the DGBT scheduling, but if you ask me, it's always good to have an off week following the first event of the season. You know, just to allow the overreactions to breathe. Whether it's Rick's incoming major win chatter or him being first to a Millie to the promising youngsters andor breakout performances with the now guaranteed future tour victory this year. Or how about the rehashing of female athletes injection into our sport and it ultimately progressing FO to the next level. Not only does that insult the current crop of athletes playing the game, including the winner who's old enough to be in a protected division, but has already been told, you know, just a few years ago with Holland Hanley or Sarah Hok before her. And yes, it has panned out to world championships and one of the top players of the game currently, but changing disc golf, not so much so. But what was really new coming out of the weekend was our first glimpse of the largest nonademic sponsorship dollars and its impact on the game with its integration, which really couldn't have come anytime sooner cuz some of us for a brief moment was looking at the DGBT like it was some kind of front like Long John Silvers. And though the numbers have yet to be revealed, 100K addition to the Powerball Cup purse and 50 grand winners announced prior to the event had to be enough to provide a grace period by...
