I wonder why in the good old days everything had to be under stable wall is wrong with the technology back then guys we are back with a special kind of video I kind of forget how I came out with this idea but I went to eBay and got a disc from 1989 this is a disc craft eclipse which is one of the first beveled edge drivers of the history of disc golf and I'm gonna put this to the test - 30 years later I have a discmania dd3 and I want to see what 30 years of disc evolution can do to our distance drivers and what these guys were working with 30 years ago I think it's a whole different story than what we're working with today so let's put them to the test and see who survives all right guys first challenge is of course the obvious one distance I'm gonna smash both of these as hard as I can and let's see what happens there it is keep on going yeah those smashed that's not bad it feels so different it's crazy okay shout out to you this guy's if you're discovering you're not using you disk what are you doing but measuring our drives measuring my drives contest number one you might think to yourself hey this isn't a fair contest and I say you're right but that's not the point of this video all right we just got to the Eclipse and it looks like we're looking at four hundred and twenty eight heat four hundred and twenty eight feet I had to put so much Heiser on this alright we just made it to the DD three and I I turned this over a bit too much so it wasn't the ideal throw but it's still that flew five hundred and thirty five hundred and thirty yeah so yeah it's still flew a good amount further than this so DD 320 19 verses nineteen eighty nine zero one for 2019 okay competition to of course got to be sidearm distance D d3 is going first this time just to keep it fair maybe it was the pressure for this guy okay I'm happy with that I'm not the greatest siren throw in the world oh all right well see the clips landed right here we are at just about 280...
