DOES ARMSPEED EQUAL DISTANCE?!
A team of disc golf enthusiasts puts arm speed to the test in a unique experiment designed to answer one question: does arm speed truly equal distance? TeamDiscmania's local Massachusetts player joins forces with a special guest from Rivas, who brings expertise on rangefinders and speed guns. Together, they measure arm speed using radar technology while throwing discs at different speeds, including 40 miles per hour and 50 miles per hour. They compare the distances achieved by putters, mid-range drivers, fairway drivers, and distance drivers to see which factor has the greatest impact on flight. With a focus on exploring the relationship between form, arm speed, and disc choice, this video provides valuable insights for disc golfers looking to improve their game. Join Rivas and [host] as they analyze their results and discuss the surprising findings that challenge common assumptions about distance in disc golf.
