hello and welcome to the second episode of local route today we're gonna play peeks view park in Lynchburg Virginia and I'm joined by my wife Hannah hi guys but this is a one of the this is the most popular course in the area it's it's got two courses on it same tee pads different basket locations but it's very short and technical especially on the back nine but it's got a decent advanced level course we're playing the short course right right now just to kind of get that kind of feel but I think because of this layout this is why the course is so popular and it's a it's park friendly its people friendly they have tennis up at the top they got baseball softball fields down below you can see we're playing through some players right here and that's pretty much the basic thing on every hole there's about a group of whole yeah this park is super popular it isn't a public park which can be difficult if you're trying to design a disc golf course we see that like when you guys play the memorial you have a lot of issues with like spectators and room but here a lot of people in the area get like used to disc golf and they actually get introduced to the sport because of it and I feel like the course designer did a good job of using areas of the park that aren't really popular like to the right you can see there's like a gazebo where there's barbecue going on and to the left there's baseball fields and softball fields but this little patch right here there's not really much going on so they threw in a couple disc golf holes yeah very family-friendly I've seen a lot of people picnic bring their family out and they also have a couple discs because they know they're gonna take a little stroll in the park which happens to be a disc golf course at the same time but this is actually the last hole before we go into the woods where it it gets pretty short but they're fun holes altogether you can see the green basket back there it's the pro position or in the teaser new but some of them are a little small for you guys yeah we almost lost them player...
