Competing in my sponsors biggest event of the year
Competing in the biggest event of the year is a story of perseverance and adaptation for up-and-coming disc golfer [Name]. Stepping foot on the challenging Peoria course just days before the tournament kicked off proved to be a baptism by fire, with scorching heat and humidity pushing [Name]'s endurance to the limit. Despite initial struggles, the experience actually ended up helping build their mental toughness for the grueling week ahead. As the tournament progressed, [Name] found themselves in a competitive mix of events, including signings and VIP experiences. The turning point came on Northwood Black, a course known for its unique challenges, where [Name] showed flashes of brilliance with impressive birdies and near-par scores. However, they couldn't sustain the momentum and struggled to finish strong, ultimately securing 19th place in the overall standings.

bro who knew i would make it this got here to peoria midday saturday before the event started it was about probably the hottest most humid day i've ever stepped foot on disc golf course so saturday sunday monday just incredible heat so it was really hard to practice and get through a full round without just being drenched in sweat i think that actually helped me throughout the week i'll kind of just get my endurance up but it was miserable the first three days and then tuesday is kind of when all the festivities started the tournament was getting closer the courses were permanent and closed for anyone that wasn't a player and then we started having signings dinners vip stuff then the tournament started thursday didn't go as good as i would like out on that course i feel like that's a course i know very well i wasn't able to put together a good round at all i think i only shot a four down it was kind of windy which all year it's been windy it's been insane kind of put me not as low as i expected 19th place right after that round went straight to a signing so it got a sign for about two maybe an hour and a half two hours maybe after the round it was a really long day that first day on uh on thursday and hopped into friday 19th place so we went over to northwood black i love the challenge of that course uh i started out really hot birdied the first whole bridge the second whole bridge of the third hole and i mean if i would just part out the rest of it that's still a good score on that course so to be three down through three and then you know carry that momentum and get six through seven was uh kind of like a a round where i thought i was going to shoot double digits on that course and it's never happened i mean the best round up to that point was the eight under so kind of hit a hit a dead spot after the the first seven i think i got six parts in a row or something like that and then didn't really finish that great got a couple more birdies but only shot at eight under uh...
