Gyropalooza 2022: Lab Report Join Brad and his brother Chad as they showcase their latest project, a highly anticipated catch disc dubbed the "Glitch Hybrid". The brothers share the exciting history behind this innovative disc, which aims to blend the benefits of a lid with high glide, accuracy, and approach in a compact form factor. With great flight feedback from the field, they've achieved all their goals for this hybrid disc. Since 2021, the team has been working on refining the design, having a 3D print prototype tested and validated last year. This success gave them the confidence to move forward with production. Now, with capacity expanded, they're finally able to bring this vision to life. The brothers discuss their progress and the result of months of hard work, which they believe is a true accomplishment in disc golf innovation.

Welcome to GYROpalooza guys I got Brad and my brother Chad here we're here to show you a lot of exciting things that we've been working on over the last year we've got a lot of cool things to talk about so we're ready to get into it one of the very first things that we want to talk about that we're really excited about everyone's excited about the new glitch hybrid catch disc Chad I guess let's tell them about the history about this kind of what we're going for with this one it's a good way to start off because we've touched on it for a couple years now and it's finally here and the hype's rolling and we've got a lot of great flight feedback from everyone that's out in the field throwing them we see a couple of aces already it's exciting we we achieved all of our goals that we wanted to do with the glitch and uh summarize what the goals were we wanted to blend the benefits of having a lid that have high Glide very accurate touch and approach but yet given the compact form factor of a regular disc golf disc so that way it's in your bag pull it out of your putter pouch you ready to warm up are you also ready to play catch on the basket we hit the nail ahead this last year was the 3D print prototype worked out pretty nicely this was able to let us validate some of the concerns we had about shrinking a lid down to the disc golf form factor but this gave us the confidence to move forward with production so the glitch we've actually been working on for for quite some time we've actually had this mold built roughly before covid and and then when when the covid boom for disc golf came along we just had to take a back seat with it now that we've finally expanded our capacity we're able to meet that demand we're finally able to kind of make it come to fruition and it's it's really I think kind of accomplishing what we were trying to do with with the catch disc yeah going from the 30 print prototype last year the tool even shortly after we've had this mold ready to go but with you know the complications of the marketplace...
